About us
Sidetracked started as an idea to branch out into podcasting. We wanted to let people in on the conversations we were already having about the sport. Announcing was already something we were doing, but we wanted to share what interested us - not just within pulling - but motorsports and the world beyond.
It has since grown to include photography and a constantly expanding library of historic pulling film. These efforts have drawn in the talents and enthusiasm to share it of other people beyond the founding duo.

Charles Poosch grew up in Romeo, Michigan and attended his first pull at age 2 where a life-long passion began. He started announcing with local clubs in 2000. Photography is a secondary passion inherited from his grandfather who made his living with a camera for the Detroit Free Press. The motorsports enthusiasm is far ranging from F1 to building custom chainsaws. Charles has 3 children who have also been seen behind a camera, and he is an Agency Associate for Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan.
