1997 Ionia, MI NTPA GN Dusty Arfons Dragon Lady. Dusty was just as good at giving a fire show and making laps on the pulling track as the rest of her family. Here she makes a latenight pass at Ionia after a lengthy rain-delay.
1996 NFMS Rich Lustik Silver Bullet AGCO-White. 1996 was Jordan's debut season at the helm of the Bullet, but dad was taking the reigns for one last ride in Freedom Hall. It was a good year for the team, winning NFMS and the BG Ring.
1999 ATPA Grand American Galen Young Renegade. The Youngs are a force in big cube FWD pulling. They were among the first to run the built-low-to-the-ground style FWDs and always had motors that performed way upstairs in the rev range. This would be the second of three straight ATPA GA titles for the team.
2004 Armada Fair Pat Jenuine Sneaky Snake Pro Stock. Everyone knows the legend of the 'Snake. It's been around almost since the beginning in Pro Stock and is still out there now, albeit as a Light Pro.
2005-ish. This truck shows early hood stack life with a tractor-style setup and I freakin' LOVE it!
1997 NTPA Urbana, OH John Cespedes Fool's Gold Pro Stock. John got grandfathered in as one the few (only?) gas-burning Pro Stocks. He has kept the thing alive for decades now to preserve that status. In 2014, he claimed a share of the NTPA Pro Stock title.
1989 & 2002 Bob Jostock Wild Child Imlay City, MI. 2 different clips from the same place showing how far Bob had moved in 13 years. Still with 4 motors but all the way up through Enderle and NTPA National titles.
1998 NFMS Finals Brian Diekman Rat Poison. 1998 was very good to the Diekman family of NW OH. They won it all at Farm Show and piled on a string of RN2 wins as well and a 4th place finish in ATPA GA points. Gary Diekman passed away 2 weeks ago. This week's mandatory Allison clip is in his honor.
It was a hugely entertaining weekend to be out with friends and family, but it was a costly and dangerous weekend, too. Give a listen for the story and more.
