The Haferd team out of Ohio ran diesel Super Stock Fords for a long time on the State, Regional, and Pro National circuits with some success when the Ford platform wasn't generally thought to be a ticket to the winner's circle. Here's a pass with Jim at the helm from 1993 Arcola, IN.

It's a tough situation, but official word has come through that UCC will move to July 10-12 at Lucas Oil Speedway. Sorry to have to pass this along, but we are all in this together. Say your prayers, wash your hands. If you're busy, do it at the same time.
1987 Hillsdale, MI Tom Straley of Hastings, MI hooks up to Heartbreaker 2 on the old sand track. He gets the twin-blown mod a little crossed up on this pass. Not much is known about the mod, but he would go on to funnycar style TWDs just a couple of years later. 1995 Armada Fair Wolverine State hook. This the second year for the twin engine, stair-step version of Rat Poison and it was arguably their most successful iteration. It certainly was my favorite. Besides, who doesn't love hearing Allison scream??? The Farm Show would not go well for Darrell Varner. Despite a generally favorable 3rd starting spot draw, the chassis setup was just a bit off. In the end, Darrell would have the last laugh as he would carry away the 1997 ATPA Grand American Championship. Donna Webb out of Claremore, OK ran a very tough Ford on the ATPA circuit for many years. They were among the last to use "zoomie" exhaust headers in MFWD truck as the trend progressed toward collectors for their cylinder scavenging benefits. Donna won this hook and would add 3 other wins on the way to a runner-up finish in ATPA Grand American points for 1999. Locke Performance Clip Of The Day 1997 NFMS Randy Brown The Thoruoughbred TWD. This truck has always been one of the cleanest, best presented trucks out there. It still is today. A good runner every time it comes off the trailer. I guess it's a Super Stock week around here. I'll have something different for you tomorrow. The Hook Magazine Clip Of The Day 1998 NFMS 7700 Super Stock. Tadd Eads of Lagro, IN has the Indiana Rascal set up for the first hook of the class and takes the sled down to within a breath of the sandpile. The Eads family would run the ex-Coleman Wheatley tractor hard in the late 90s. I know I have been away from the microphone for a while. There has been a few reasons for that and I'll be back soon and catch everyone up in the usual Sidetracked honest style. In the meantime, I have been doing a massive amount of infrastructural work behind the scenes to make the website more active, use my Youtube channel, and get content on Twitter in addition to what has always been on Facebook. The single biggest push has been for the podcast itself. Long story short, because of the website design, I had to reconstruct the entire podcast library elsewhere. The end benefit comes in the answer to something many have asked me to do since the beginning and as of tonight, it is here. All podcast episodes past and future will still be available on the website, but now you can also find them on Google Podcasts, Apple iTunes, Spotify, and TuneIn. They're all there. Ready to go. I needed something to go right this week. I'll be talking with you all very soon!
