GREAT LAKES BIG RIG CHALLENGE

Oh, man!  The Canadians know a thing or 2 about semi drag racing in their own particular style.  For all intents and purposes, the format is approximately 1/8 mile, no prep, no time.  They race bobtail, and loaded and there's 3 classes.  Put it like this, stock, working trucks in Class C, modified trucks in Class B, and psychotic trucks in Class A!  How they don't just shatter and scatter drivelines (well, more than they did anyway) while grabbing gears, I'll never know, but the display of power is truly impressive.  Mike Sturgill and the gang at Onaway Speedway did a fantastic job on the first ever event and had plenty to keep everyone entertained.  Plans are already underway for next year and you can bet we will be there.
