Prime Diesel COTD 96 Frank Slifka

1996 NFMS Frank Slifka Dust Devil. Oddballs are a favorite around here and this one goes right up the list. You just don't see pairings like this anymore and that is a loss. The IL-based machine is fronted by a twin-turbocharged, fuel-injected Allison V12 (aw, YEAH!!!) and in the kicker mounts is an injected Big Block Chevy. The audio feed in Freedom Hall has interference for this. Was it due to this tractor? I don't know, but the Allisons were notorious for ignition crossfire in the distributors... so, could be?
