The feud has gone on since the early 1960s, when Enzo rebuffed Henry Ford II's attempts to buy the Maranello automaker. The battle culminated in the latter part of the same decade with a ferocious fight at the Curcuit de la Sarthe. The Prancing Horses would never again run at the front of the twice around the clock test.
Down through time, the 2 would circle each other, primarily in F1; one as an automaker, the other a badge-engineered auto supplier. Recently though, in the GT ranks, Ford sought to renew its rivalry and, just as before, on the 50th Anniversary came out ahead once more. Even now, their design departments haven't quite given up. This morning, Ferrari announced the SP38. A familiar design that dared ask the question: Who wore it better?
